DevOps Engineer

Our client, a fast-growing FinTech company, is looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build, automate, and operate a modern cloud-native payment platform running on AWS. You will work in a collaborative Agile environment with a strong focus on automation, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure through Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Configure and maintain AWS services including IAM, Cognito, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route53, API Gateway, MSK (Kafka), ALB, and VPN.
• Deploy, monitor, and support containerized microservices running on AWS.
• Ensure the stability, availability, and security of production environments.
• Participate in on-call support for production systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers, software developers, QA engineers, and Product teams within Agile squads.
• Maintain technical documentation and continuously improve operational processes.
• Apply DevSecOps best practices and security-first principles across the software delivery lifecycle.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with Git and Git-based workflows.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and security.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Programming experience, preferably Python.
• Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python.
• Experience working in Agile development environments (Agile/Scrum).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Professional working proficiency in English (C1 or higher).
• Experience within banking, payments, or FinTech.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Nice to have: experience with container orchestration and cloud-native architectures.
• Nice to have: experience using AI-assisted development tools.
