Senior Solution Architect

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to support the overall architecture and design of a newly built Payment Solution / payment gateway for merchant needs. The solution is set up entirely in cloud infrastructure and follows DevSecOps practices, with a strong focus on regulatory and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the overall architecture and design of the payment gateway solution.
• Create and maintain technical/implementation standards, best practices, and ensure delivery follows these standards.
• Cooperate with Product Owner, Business Analyst, and developers to refine functional and non-functional requirements.
• Transform business requirements into implementation specifications compliant with regulatory and security requirements.
• Formulate and specify non-functional requirements, design patterns, and hardware requirements to support business objectives and needs.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams and technical documentation for the payment gateway.
• Occasionally collaborate with external vendors and external teams (as applicable) on technical topics.
• Facilitate technical reviews, discussions, and technological decision-making; provide support in troubleshooting technical issues.
• Analyse and evaluate 3rd party integrations (including integration APIs) and guide integration from the technological side; propose solutions for new integrations or modifications to existing solutions.
• Assess technical debt, prioritize issues based on technical product quality, and propose solutions to remove technical debt to meet product quality requirements.
• Ensure scalability, security, and efficiency of IT systems through proper design and implementation.
• Conduct risk assessments and address potential security vulnerabilities within IT architectures.
