Business Analyst

For our client operating in the banking and payment transaction processing environment, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join their team.
This is a client-facing position, where you will collaborate with external stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to ensure smooth analysis, design, and implementation of payment-related solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business and functional requirements with clients

• Facilitation of workshops, interviews, and discussions with stakeholders

• Cooperation with solution architects to translate requirements into feasible solutions

• Coordination of solutioning activities across technical and business teams

• Preparation and maintenance of solution scope documentation

• Collection and consolidation of effort estimates from delivery teams

• Support of ongoing delivery: clarification of requirements, scope alignment

• Defect triage during testing phases, impact assessment, and requirement corrections

• Close collaboration with project managers, developers, testers, and external partners

• Ensuring traceability and consistency of requirements throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• English language at a communicative level (min. B2)

• Experience as a Business Analyst in banking, payments, fintech, or transaction processing is an advantage

• Understanding of payment flows, card transactions, or banking processes is a plus

• Ability to communicate with clients, collect requirements, and translate business needs into technical specifications

• Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving

• Experience working with architects, delivery teams, and technical stakeholders

• Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and coordinate activities across multiple teams

• Familiarity with SDLC and agile methodologies is welcomed

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of ISO 8583, SEPA, SWIFT, card scheme processes, or settlement/clearing

• Experience with writing user stories, acceptance criteria, or UML/BPMN diagrams

• Experience with defect triage, UAT support, or integration projects
