Information Systems Testing Specialist - Brussels

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Testing Specialist (TES). Join a high-impact team supporting a prestigious EU institution in Brussels. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale, complex IT projects in a dynamic and multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and define detailed test plans and test cases

• Develop advanced test scenarios and scripts

• Coordinate and execute testing for complex software systems

• Report and analyze test results

• Write and maintain scripts to support automated testing

• Assist with deployment and configuration of testing tools

Required Skills and Experience:

Technical Competencies:

• Advanced knowledge of software testing technologies and tools

• Experience with test data preparation, ideally using SQL databases

• Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools

• Strong understanding of development environments and RDBMS

• Experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Tools and Technologies:

• Selenium, SoapUI, NeoLoad

• Familiarity with OWASP Top Ten for web application security

• Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence), GitHub, ServiceNow

Methodologies:

• PM² and PM² Agile

• Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)

Required Certifications (at least one of the following):

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)

• Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE)

• Certified Quality Assurance Professional (CQAP)

• Certified Scrum Master

Additional Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (minimum C1 level)

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders

• Must be onsite in Brussels three days per week (Mondays and Thursdays are mandatory)
