We are seeking a dedicated DevSecOps Engineer to join our client’s team in the banking sector, focusing on Data Streaming and Open API projects. This role is integral to applying agile and DevOps principles across the entire software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines across various infrastructure environments (development, test, production) in collaboration with software engineers.
- Manage application and server-level certificates, ensuring secure and reliable renewal processes.
- Develop scripting and automation solutions to enhance product deployments, infrastructure operations, and container management.
- Support and drive DevOps and platform engineering projects and initiatives.
- Enhance and automate SDLC processes with a focus on security and compliance.
- Deliver high-quality support to internal users and external customers of the platform and products.
- Share knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise with other project members.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of DevOps and its core services.
- Design and propose security concepts and controls, including encryption, authentication mechanisms, and firewall configurations.
Personality Requirements and Skills:
- Knowledge of ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Experience with version control systems like Git (Gitlab).
- Knowledge of the Kafka ecosystem.
- Experience working with certificates.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
- Solid understanding of the Linux OS.
- Proficiency in development and automation support tools (Nexus, Sonar, Ansible, Gitlab Runner) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in service discovery tools (Consul) and trace logging (Zipkin) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of REST, SOAP principles is an advantage.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, and their packaging systems Maven, Gradle is an advantage.
