General Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to operate and support Microsoft Entra ID tenants (DEV, QA, PROD). The role focuses on hands‑on Entra ID administration, automation using PowerShell and similar tools, and 2nd level operational support in an enterprise Microsoft 365 environment.
What will you be doing?
Primary responsibilities include operations, incident handling and operational request fulfilment for Entra ID tenants. Candidates do not need to be experts in every area listed; hands‑on Entra ID experience and automation skills are most important.
- Operations and Support
- Operations and support of Entra ID tenants (DEV, QA, PROD)
- 24/7 on‑call support for Entra ID following Sev 1 & 2 incident process (support in English is sufficient)
- Support platform and application operations of Entra ID tenants
- Support monitoring and alert handling
- Support daily operational runbooks and housekeeping activities
- Support user and application lifecycle processes across Entra ID and other M365 areas (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Incident & Problem Management
- 2nd level incident handling; act as interface to 3rd level (Microsoft) and internal product teams
- Ticket intake & classification
- Account lockout support
- MFA issues & resets (via controlled process)
- Checking standard role assignments (pre‑approved)
- Sign‑in issue investigation and basic sign‑in log analysis
- Conditional Access troubleshooting
- Identity Protection alert investigation
- App registration support
- Initial security incident response
- Problem management including support in root cause analysis (RCA) and improvement measures
- Operational Request‑Based Tasks
- Entra ID group management (create, modify, assign, revoke/remove assignments)
- Entra ID account management
- Entra ID role assignment process and validation
- Application registration process & Graph API permission management
- Detailed Task Areas
- Administrative Unit management (create, update, delete as approved)
- Application lifecycle management: register applications, implement changes, certificate/secret renewal, decommissioning
- Guest account management: bulk creation, update, maintenance, cleanup and deprovisioning
- Entra ID role assignment validation: preliminary checks, prevent overlapping roles, flag and escalate conflicts
