Senior IT tester

We are looking for an experienced tester with a focus on integration and E2E testing for a large telecommunications project. The position is focused on the quality of the new Service Order Management (Fixed SOM) system and on verifying integrations between multiple backend systems.

The role requires analytical thinking, the ability to trace requests across systems and an understanding of XSD schemas and logs.

• At least 3 years of experience in system integration and/or integration testing of backend systems.
• Proven experience testing REST and SOAP/WS integrations (request/response validation, error states, timeouts, retry logic).
• Practical knowledge of XML technologies: XSD, XSLT, XPath (required for message validation in an integration environment).
• Knowledge of the Java programming language and frameworks Serenity BDD, RestAssured.
• Familiarity with Kibana/Elasticsearch – log analysis, filtering by correlation ID.
• Knowledge of DB languages PL/SQL (Oracle) and/or PostgreSQL – analysis of state transitions, audit trail.
• Experience with tools JIRA, TestRail, Git, Jenkins, Swagger.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to work with incomplete/changing documentation.
• Well-developed communication and presentation skills – written and verbal.
• Team player – natural collaboration with BAs, developers, architects and Operations.
• English language skills at least at B1 level.
• University degree in a technical field (IT/telecommunications) or equivalent experience.
• Highly desirable: experience in the telco domain (BSS/OSS processes, CRM, Order Management, TM Forum standards eTOM/SID).
• Highly desirable: knowledge of the integration platform TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW) – reading and debugging integration processes; plus TIBCO EMS, TIBCO FOM.
• Nice to have: familiarity with other ESB platforms (Oracle SOA Suite, JBoss SOA).
• Nice to have: experience with tools Playwright, Selenium for E2E UI testing of agent applications.
• Nice to have: experience with load testing – JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Nice to have: familiarity with network technologies DOCSIS and GPON.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes for local test environments.

You will work on a large telecommunications project involving the merger of two operators and the migration of their services and customer orders into a unified Fixed SOM (Service Order Management) system.

The project includes network technologies for internet and TV, extensive integration flows across multiple systems and a large number of customer scenarios to verify.
