Technical / Solution Architect (remote)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical / Solution Architect to join a team on a mission to transform customer relationship management  by leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud. To expand its implementation and ensuring seamless operations, we need a skilled professional with deep expertise in SFMC and system integrations.

Job description:

• Design and implement comprehensive, end-to-end solutions that maximize the capabilities of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Ensuring alignment of the solution with business goals
• Provide technical leadership and guide development teams in building robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions
• Develop integration strategies - Define and execute seamless data integration approaches between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and cloud services
• Supervise the development and customization of Salesforce components using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other tools
• Implement secure access controls, encryption mechanisms, and compliance measures  
• Collaborate closely with business leaders, IT teams, and end-users to translate requirements into actionable technical solutions
• Optimize System Performance - Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance, data integrity, and responsiveness
• Oversee regular system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while ensuring minimal downtime
• Engage with third-party vendors and consultants 
• Advocate for cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Expertise in Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and system integration within cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS services for data storage, computing, and security
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with the capability to guide development teams
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluency in English (knowledge of German or CEE languages is a plus)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with Marketing Cloud Personalization and Data Cloud
• Experience in the financial industry
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures (e.g., Apache Kafka, Pulsar)
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., System, Technical, or Integration Architect)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)
