We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our client’s team in Vienna. In this role, you will enhance and maintain a Market Making Platform, supporting Trading and Sales activities. You’ll collaborate with IT teams, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications, ensuring efficient and secure SDLC processes.
- Write clean, efficient code aligned with system specifications.
- Collaborate with teams to meet product goals.
- Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and support production operations.
- Mentor developers, perform code reviews, and uphold development standards.
Requirements
- Expertise in Java and object-oriented programming (C++ is a plus).
- Proficiency in UNIX, scripting (e.g., bash), and relational databases.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD processes, and REST API integration.
- Familiarity with microservice orchestration and integration patterns.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in capital markets or banking is a plus.
- Fluent in English (German is an advantage).
