We are looking for an experienced Azure Database Administrator to join a long-term project for a world-class client in the tech industry. You will be part of an expert team managing large-scale databases, fine-tuning performance, and ensuring smooth operations for mission-critical systems.
What will you do:
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize large-scale Azure SQL databases.
- Take ownership of database backup, recovery, and configuration management.
- Lead troubleshooting and performance tuning for high-volume databases — including multi-trillion record tables.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and global supplier teams to deliver stable and efficient solutions.
What we expect:
- Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure SQL Database.
- Proven track record working with Azure SQL Hyperscale and 30TB+ datasets.
- Deep expertise in Database Optimization & Tuning — especially with complex queries and performance bottlenecks.
- Strong knowledge of Memory Clerks, Database Watcher, and CCI-backed tables.
- Experience designing and supporting partitioning strategies for large CCI tables.
- Great team player — comfortable working across international, multi-vendor environments.
