Senior Backend Kotlin Developer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Kotlin Developer to join our team, working on an innovative core biometric product with a modern backend stack. This role involves the implementation of new microservices and adjustment of existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend solutions using Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Design and implement REST APIs and distributed systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality code and system functionality
• Conduct code reviews and participate in agile development processes
• Work independently and collaboratively to solve complex engineering challenges
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, clean code with a strong sense of ownership

Requirements:

• Proven experience in backend development with Kotlin, Spring, REST API
• Experience with Java, Hibernate, JUnit, MockK, Gradle, Maven, OpenAPI, RabbitMQ
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and agile environments
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with GraphQL
• Knowledge of security best practices for APIs and distributed systems
