EDI Senior Analyst (SAP Integration & iDoc)

Position Description

• The EDI Senior Analyst is responsible for stable, reliable, and efficient electronic data exchange between SAP systems and external partners.
• The role focuses on monitoring and supporting daily EDI operations, resolving interface issues, and supporting implementation of new EDI connections with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners, including configuration and optimization of SAP iDocs.
• Location: Kosice, SK.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to continuous improvement of system integration and data exchange.
• Ensure minimal disruption to business operations through timely issue resolution.
• Ensure smooth deployment of interfaces following change and release processes.
• Support SAP-related projects involving EDI and interface development.
• Ensure compliance with integration standards and documentation requirements.
• Monitor daily EDI transactions and ensure stable operation of interfaces with external partners.
• Troubleshoot and resolve EDI issues, including failed or delayed messages.
• Provide Level 2/3 support and coordinate incident resolution with IT teams and providers.
• Analyze transaction logs and system alerts to proactively identify issues.
• Implement new EDI connections with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Configure and maintain EDI message mappings and communication protocols.
• Coordinate onboarding of new partners, including testing and validation.
• Define integration requirements with internal business stakeholders.
• Support continuous expansion of EDI partner landscape.
• Support integration between SAP and external systems using iDocs.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot SAP iDoc interfaces.
• Analyze integration flows and resolve data inconsistencies with SAP teams.
• Participate in testing of SAP integration changes and system upgrades.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across integrated systems.
• Identify and implement improvements to increase automation and efficiency.
• Support integration projects such as ERP upgrades and system migrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize EDI processes.
• Coordinate with external providers to ensure interface stability and performance.
• Maintain documentation of EDI processes, mappings, and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong experience with EDI operations, incident support, and interface troubleshooting in SAP-integrated environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP integration using iDocs, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SAP iDoc interfaces.
• Experience with EDI partner onboarding, testing, validation, and maintaining message mappings and communication protocols.
• Ability to analyze transaction logs, system alerts, and integration flows to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Experience working with change and release processes for interface deployments.
• Ability to collaborate with IT, Logistics, business stakeholders, SAP teams, and external providers.
• Ability to maintain integration documentation and ensure compliance with integration standards.
