General Description
We are looking for a Solution Architect to define and own detailed solution architecture for information systems and applications in the Lending domain.
The role combines solution design, system integration, architectural governance and close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
- Define and own detailed solution architecture for information systems and applications within the Lending domain, aligned with business requirements and strategic objectives.
- Design application and integration architecture, including REST and SOAP service definitions, data flow design and evaluation of alternative solutions.
- Design integration scenarios between systems, including API, ESB and MQ, while ensuring compliance with architectural principles.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation according to defined standards, including ArchiMate and UML, using tools such as Confluence and Enterprise Studio.
- Collaborate on defining non-functional requirements covering performance, availability and scalability.
- Collaborate on infrastructure and security design with Technology and Security Architects.
- Present proposed solutions to technical and non-technical audiences at various management levels.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, IT analysts, ICT architects and other Solution Architects to design complex solutions.
- Communicate with internal and external suppliers during the preparation of detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Provide consultation and oversight during solution development, deployment across environments and testing phases.
- Review and approve detailed functional and integration designs to ensure compliance with architectural standards, IT strategy and technology trends.
- Maintain the architecture repository and solution models using appropriate tools.
Requirements
- Language skills: Excellent oral and written communication in both Slovak and English.
- Technical expertise:
- Knowledge of architectural and security standards.
- Experience designing SOAP, REST and MQ services and integration solutions.
- Familiarity with API management and microservices architecture is an advantage.
- Domain knowledge: Deep understanding of the Lending domain, including loan origination and servicing, credit assessment, underwriting, collateral management, loan servicing and collections.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Solution Architect, preferably in banking or other highly regulated sectors.
- Soft skills:
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and learning new technologies quickly.
- Flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Proactive and positive mindset with strong communication skills.
- Tools and standards: Experience with architecture modeling tools such as Sparx EA and Enterprise Studio BizzDesign, as well as familiarity with methodologies including TOGAF and SAFe.
